Commercial fitouts
We have fitted out offices, boardrooms and retail spaces around Christchurch, including work for Skellerup. The advantage of using a furniture maker for a fitout is that the detailing holds up close. Boardroom tables, reception joinery, staircases and wall panelling all get looked at from an arm's length away, which is a different standard from general building work.

Doors
Doors are a large part of what we do. New solid timber doors made to size, and restoration of original doors including leadlight panels, which we see a lot of in Christchurch character homes. If a door has dropped, sticks, or has been cut about by a previous owner, it can almost always be put right.
Heritage and character buildings
Because we work in old joinery every week, we are comfortable in buildings where the walls are not square and nothing is a standard size. That includes matching existing profiles and mouldings so new work sits alongside old without announcing itself. Ask us about retrofit double glazing at the same time if the windows are original.
